Sister of Georik Zaberisk. She is a sweet, young girl who adores her brother and loves to play games. She loses her body when she is accused of being a witch. Yet even though she is only a head she is somehow able to live on.

A run-in with a mob of angry villagers has left her without the usual complement of limbs - indeed, without any of the body parts usually found below the neck - so she has to live in the basement and get corpse-pieces sewn onto her on a semi-regular basis. Count St. Germant

Childhood friend of Georik and Mikhail. He is the head scientist at Hartland's Castle as has been called, "A Walking National Secret". Despite his important job he would rather eat caramels, build inventions, and read adventure novels all day.

"...wants to build robots, but the fun kind of robots, not the kind that kill people. Unfortunately, he's been recruited for some secret military project, so you can guess which kind of robots he actually builds. He's also Lillith's fiance, but their relationship has hit a snag with the whole "disembodied head" thing."

Viscount Mikhail Ramphet

Voice Actor: Hikaru Midorikawa 緑川光
Height: 185 cm
Weight: 70 kg
Age: 26
The fiery-tempered and often arrogant captain of the Royal Guard. He is also a childhood friend to Georik and St. Germant. He considers Georik to be his greatest rival and seeks to best him in swordplay, even though Georik gave up the sword for medicine. Is a devote Catholic and has never missed mass.

"...has hobbies ranging from "going to church" to "harassing Georik into going to church." For a change of pace, he also likes to start barfights. He's theoretically Georik's best friend, but in a resentful, insecure, "why can't I be better than you?" way. "

Mephistopheles

A servant of the devil who haunts Georik, offering him temptations. He desires Georik's body and soul.

"...is a dark scary soul-stealing demon who follows Georik around like a lovesick puppy. A puppy with horns and talons and bat wings. He wears lipstick, and not in a manly way. "

Bruno Glening

An immortal alchemist that through his position as royal physician, orchestrates his revenge. He attained his position and power by dangling an immortality elixir in the king's face.

"...sports white hair and unnaturally shiny glasses, which is how you know he's eeeeeeeevil. He's Georik's sociopathic boss, and also some sort of doctor, although personally, I wouldn't let him give me a band-aid if I were bleeding to death in the gutter."

Timothy Riari

A young servant boy Georik employs who is knowledgable in alchemy and teaches Georik the basics of the art.

"...is an enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in something that looks an awful lot like lederhosen. Despite his tender years, he is apparently an experienced alchemist. COULD HE POSSIBLY BE MORE THAN WHAT HE SEEMS!?!?!? "

Francis Dashwood

Age: 23
The servant of Count Sandwich, to whom Georik's father owed a debt. Georik is left to pay back the debt that his father was never able to pay off. Dashwood comes monthly looking for money and offering Georik items of interest.

"...is a skeezy debt collector with a heart of gold, a tortured past, nowhere to run, and nothing left to lose. Plus he has green skin. That's pretty special. And dude, check out those cowboy chaps!"

Jan van Ruthberg

Voice Actor: Megumi Ogata 緒方恵美

A mysterious powerful medium who saves Georik. Runs a store called the Golden Goose that sells illegal alchemical and magical equipment.

"...sees dead people. When he isn't busy exorcising restless spirits and having a dark secret, he runs some sort of alchemical supply shop-cum-manicure parlor. Okay, I made up the manicure parlor thing, but have you seen his nails? I rest my case. "
